The Power of the Nudge: Planting Seeds at "Ground Zero"

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 3:7

"So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow."

We may not always know the end of our simple obedience, but God knows the end from the beginning.

There is a certain peace that comes when we realize we aren't responsible for the "growth"—we are only responsible for the "planting." This scripture has always been deeply important to me because it teaches me to do my part, follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and trust that He will take care of the rest.

Finding God in the "Playground"

I am a living witness to this truth in every area of my life. Whether I am decorating my home, tending to my garden, or doing yard work in the space I call my "playground"—where I often walk more than 10,000 steps—I see His hand. God has given me the grace of completion simply because I chose to obey His nudge without intimidation.

I didn’t always see the full picture, but I stayed on the path, and He kept guiding me.

From Ground Zero to Growth

I see this same faithfulness in the bigger projects He has assigned to me. From the power He gave me to write my book to the strength He provided to build this website from "Ground Zero," it has all been a result of that quiet, holy nudge.

I am sharing this with you today to encourage you: The power of evangelism is growing, and so is the work God has put in your hands. You don't need to see the finish line to take the first step. You just need to trust the One who is already there.

My Prayer for You Today:

May you have the courage to obey the nudge without intimidation. May you plant and water with joy, knowing that the God of faithfulness is already preparing the harvest. In Jesus' precious name, Amen. 🙏
